TEAM Producing Director Alexandra Lalonde and guest expert Matt Ross will lead a 2-hour peer-to-peer conversation about press and publicity for individual projects and small companies. With participants we will discuss topics including theatrical print and online media, press releases, reviews and advance features, and budgets. We'll share experiences from the TEAM's own press relationships, and solicit your questions in advance of the workshop to help guide our discussion.

Matt Ross is the founder of Matt Ross Public Relations, and has been a press agent since 2005, most recently as part of The Hartman Group and prior to that at Boneau/Bryan-Brown and Keith Sherman & Associates. His current clients include New York Theatre Workshop; Irish Repertory Theatre; Primary Stages; The New York Musical Festival (NYMF); Barrington Stage Company; Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival; Rattlestick Playwrights Theater; Page 73; the TEAM; Ensemble Studio Theatre; Clubbed Thumb; Fault Line Theatre; Fellowship for Performing Arts; Samovarchik; Pipeline Theatre Company; and the New York premiere of Party Face. He has represented more than 30 Broadway and off-Broadway productions, amongst them: Billy Crystal’s 700 Sundays; Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812; War Horse; Hands on a Hardbody; Bring It On; How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying; Traces; Promises, Promises; A Steady Rain; La Bête, In The Heights; The Seagull; Curtains; Rock 'n' Roll; The History Boys; Mary Poppins and Tarzan. He has also represented the launch of NBC’s “Smash,” New York’s Signature Theatre Company and LAByrinth Theater Company, and Washington DC’s Signature Theatre.

We’re holding one seat in each workshop for an equivalent number of volunteer hours instead of the full registration fee. Requests for barter should be emailed to, with "Workshop Fee Barter" in the subject heading. Barter offers will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants must commit to an agreed schedule for volunteer hours prior to attending the class.

Cancellations and Refund Policy
The TEAM reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop at any time. In the event of a canceled workshop, the TEAM will notify all registered participants immediately, and provide either a full refund or credit to be used for a later workshop.

Participants who submit a written request to withdraw from a workshop at least 7 days in advance of the workshop start date are eligible for a full refund, less an administrative fee to cover processing charges. Requests to withdraw 2-7 days prior to the start of a workshop are eligible for a 50% refund of the original fee, less administrative fee. Refunds for cancellations made within 2 days of a workshop are at the sole discretion of the TEAM. Absolutely NO REFUNDS will be issued on or after the start date of the workshop.
