Fundraising

Tuesday, November 1
7 - 9pm


TEAM Producing Director Manda Martin and Associate Producer Lucy Jackson, with guest expert Anna Frenkel will lead a 2-hour peer-to-peer conversation about fundraising for individual projects and small companies, discussing personal appeals, crowdfunding, benefit events, and cultivating and maintaining donors. We’ll share experiences from the TEAM’s own fundraising, and solicit your questions in advance of the workshop to help guide our discussion.

Currently the Director of Development at Atlantic Theater Company overseeing $3 million in annual contributions, Anna Frenkel was previously part of the fundraising teams at Signature Theatre, The Public Theater, and MTC. She holds an M.A. in Performing Arts Admin from NYU and a B.S. in Computer Science from SMU. When not at the theater or schmoozing donors, she plays competitive pinball.

Barter
We’re holding one seat in each workshop for an equivalent number of volunteer hours instead of the full registration fee. Requests for barter should be emailed to hello@theteamplays.org, with "Workshop Fee Barter" in the subject heading. Barter offers will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants must commit to an agreed schedule for volunteer hours prior to attending the class.


Cancellations and Refund Policy
The TEAM reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop at any time. In the event of a canceled workshop, the TEAM will notify all registered participants immediately, and provide either a full refund or credit to be used for a later workshop.

Participants who submit a written request to withdraw from a workshop at least 7 days in advance of the workshop start date are eligible for a full refund, less an administrative fee to cover processing charges. Requests to withdraw 2-7 days prior to the start of a workshop are eligible for a 50% refund of the original fee, less administrative fee. Refunds for cancellations made within 2 days of a workshop are at the sole discretion of the TEAM. Absolutely NO REFUNDS will be issued on or after the start date of the workshop.
